** Part-Time Retail Associate**
**General Overview**
As a Retail Associate, you will deliver exceptional service to customers both in-store and through various channels. Your role involves understanding customer needs and providing assistance by adhering to the company's customer service principles, always prioritizing the customer experience. Retail Associates will engage in various store operations, including assisting customers, managing merchandise, processing transactions, handling incoming shipments, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. It is essential for Retail Associates to embody the company's core values of Accountability, Collaboration, Humility, and Passion. As brand ambassadors, Retail Associates are responsible for ensuring a seamless experience from online to in-store interactions. Compliance with all company policies and procedures is mandatory.
**Reports to:** Store Manager and/or Co-Manager
**Key Responsibilities:**
Customer Engagement: Welcome every customer with a friendly demeanor, interpreting their needs and providing appropriate service. Promote the benefits of the loyalty program, address inquiries about products, and facilitate purchases through in-store or digital channels.
Transaction Management: Process customer transactions while adhering to company policies. Ensure accuracy in cash handling and provide correct change. Communicate pricing details effectively.
Store Maintenance: Uphold a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment for all customers. Responsibilities include clearing debris from aisles, returning items to their designated places, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
Product Management: Handle incoming shipments, arrange merchandise on the sales floor according to company standards, execute markdowns, and keep the stockroom organized.
Order Fulfillment: Manage all aspects of the fulfillment process, including locating items, inspecting product conditions, and ensuring proper packaging for customer pick-up or delivery.
Loss Prevention: Adhere to all asset protection protocols.
Professional Development: Engage in daily team meetings and ongoing training, remaining open to feedback and coaching.
Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Capacity to work efficiently under time constraints
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in utilizing technology for customer interactions (e.g., Tablets, Registers)
Ability to spend significant time on feet, standing or walking throughout the store
Capability to lift items up to 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
**Experience:**
Previous retail experience is not required
Some High School Education is preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
At least 1 year of experience in retail roles such as Cashier, Retail Floor Associate, or Stock Associate is preferred.
