Position Overview:
Ware Malcomb is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to enhance our Civil Engineering division. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients in various commercial and residential development initiatives that contribute positively to our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager with the effective oversight of multiple site development projects. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing the entire lifecycle of projects from inception to completion.
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating all project phases, including Preliminary Grading, Utility Layouts, and Construction Documentation.
  • Preparing essential design reports and conducting thorough analyses.
  • Providing construction support through site visits and reviewing shop drawings.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with clients and their consultants.
  • Conducting comprehensive code searches and analyses at local, county, state, and federal levels.
  • Representing Ware Malcomb at public design review meetings and presenting project details as necessary.
  • Collaborating with various consultants to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive set of contract documents.
  • Ensuring the financial success of all assigned projects.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred PE (Professional Engineering) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in land/site development civil projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking capabilities.
