Industrial Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team at SMC Corporation of America. As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong foundation in technical disciplines and experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of laboratory equipment and processes to support engineering experimentation and analysis.
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external customers to interpret their requirements, participate in technical product evaluations, and communicate technical knowledge and specifications effectively. You will also be responsible for documenting laboratory operations, managing inventory levels, providing training on laboratory procedures and equipment, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and researching and reporting equipment upgrades and advancements.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative environment.
