Organ and Tissue Donation Liaison

**Job Title:** Organ and Tissue Donation Liaison
DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Organ and Tissue Donation Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating birth tissue recovery initiatives, educating new moms on the importance of donation, and ensuring seamless communication with healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of tissue banking principles, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

**Responsibilities:*
- Coordinate birth tissue recovery initiatives with hospitals and birthing centers.
- Provide education to new moms on the importance of donation and the benefits of participating in our program.
- Ensure timely and accurate medical record entry in electronic database.
- Collaborate with nurses, obstetricians, and other medical personnel to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
**Requirements:*
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Two years tissue banking or related experience or surgical operating room experience.
- AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) and/or EBAA Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT), ORT preferred.
- LPN or CNA highly desired.
**Compensation:*
- Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
- Benefits package including up to 176 hours of PTO, 72 hours of sick time, two medical plans, dental, vision coverage, 403(b) plan with matching contribution, company-provided term life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance, wellness program, supplemental insurance benefits, and cell phone discounts.
