The Challenges You Will Address

Provide essential support to our clients by comprehensively understanding and prioritizing their requirements while efficiently scaling our services.

Key areas of strategic support include:
- Capital calls
- Audit and tax assistance
- Pre- and post-closing services
- Quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Communication with Limited Partners

Enhance transparency for founders, venture capitalists, and Limited Partners, enabling our clients to make informed decisions by utilizing our tools and resources, such as:
- Real-time Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
- Real-time portfolio analytics
- Additional data metrics (TVPI, RVPI)

Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to refine our offerings and advance our Venture Capital product suite. Transform a service-oriented industry into a software-driven business by consulting with clients and implementing our Fund Administration software.

Your Impact

Our objective is to establish Carta as the premier Fund Administration group.

As a Senior Fund Accountant at Carta, you will play a vital role in a dynamic team dedicated to achieving our goals and advancing the Fund Administration business.

In this position, you will collaborate with leading venture capital firms to streamline their financial accounting processes.

You'll have the chance to work cross-functionally with our product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams, all while enhancing your foundational accounting knowledge in an engaging, fast-paced environment.

About You

You possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the discernment to know when to make decisions and when to escalate issues.
You are committed to delivering exceptional service.
You communicate effectively and promptly with all relevant stakeholders and can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
You have a solid understanding of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund Administration.
You are experienced in interpreting and comprehending Limited Partnership Agreements.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, both as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
Compensation and Benefits


Carta offers a competitive compensation package, including a market-aligned salary, equity for all full-time positions, outstanding benefits, and commission plans for applicable roles.

Our anticipated cash compensation (salary plus commission, if applicable) range for this role is:

$96,000 to $114,000 in Seattle, Washington
$102,000 to $120,000 in New York City, New York, San Francisco, California, and Santa Clara, California.
