Job Title: Office Manager
Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 annually
Job Summary
The City of Atlanta seeks a highly skilled and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Office of the Mayor. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on the city's administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the daily operations of the Office of the Mayor, including office management, reception duties, and administrative functions.
- Receive and respond to telephone inquiries, ensuring efficient operations and providing excellent customer service.
- Plan expenditures, maintain budgetary records, and prepare reports to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist with the setup, cleaning, and sanitization of the Mayor's Cabinet Room and the Mayor's Small Conference Room.
- Perform calendar scheduling for the Mayor's Cabinet Room and Mayor's Small Conference Room.
- Process iExpense statements and credit card reconciliations for travel team.
- Process incoming damage claims.
- Order and distribution of office supplies for the office.
- Monitor and respond to emails received in the Exe Business Office email account.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal and external stakeholders, visitors, and staff members.
- Ability to multi-task, assess priorities, and competently handle a variety of activities with a high-degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Superior attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of administrative and office practices, including the City of Atlanta policies and procedures.
- Must be tactful and diplomatic in all interactions with a high degree of good judgment.
- Committed and very conscientious about accuracy of work product.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
