Job Title: IT Service Management Specialist

SAIC is seeking an IT Service Management Specialist to join our team. As an IT Service Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing ITIL process improvement efforts, identifying service deficiencies, and creating structure to mature service delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a team defining, managing, and improving the ITIL sub-processes of Release and Deployment Management, Service Validation and Testing, Change Evaluation, Event Management, Strategic Assessment, Product Development, and Service Level Management.
  • Assess when events become incidents and/or problems, and analyze internal/external factors to establish service objectives.
  • Draft and negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers, and review and report on achievement of service thresholds and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify service deficiencies and create structure to mature service delivery processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field of study and five (5) years or more experience; Master's and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
  • ITIL v3, or 4 related certifications are a plus, but not required.
  • Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) is a plus, but not required.
  • Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe) is a plus, but not required.
  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Poly.
