Location – Remote (Candidates from the Southwest and Pacific Coast are encouraged to apply)
Travel – YES; Up to 50% (all expenses covered, per diem provided); Remote work available when not traveling
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
Knowledge of 49CFR 171 and 40 CFR 265 regulations is essential.
Strong understanding of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations related to hazardous waste management and transportation.
Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time, including overnight stays.
A Class 'B' CDL license with hazardous materials endorsements is preferred.
Must demonstrate a safety-oriented mindset and a commitment to adhere to all policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize health and safety by consistently following established policies and procedures.
- Conduct sampling, collection, identification, characterization, and packaging of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste at client sites.
- Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and manifesting of waste materials.
- Submit waste profiles through third-party online systems.
- Prepare and print waste manifests and labels using the Terralink system.
- Facilitate the transportation of waste materials to designated environmental locations.
- Perform testing on unknown materials in compliance with all regulations and company guidelines.
- Operate a Class 'B' vehicle (willingness to obtain required) to provide support services and transport waste from client locations.
- Assist in household hazardous waste collection events.
