The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL, two years of driving experience, and a strong safety-oriented mindset. You will be required to operate multiple vehicle types, including Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and Air Movers. Additionally, you will perform tasks under the direct guidance of a supervisor, including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Adhere and document all transportation compliance requirements, including inspection reports, mileage logs, and trip reports.
- Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
- Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
- Operate light and heavy equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- Two years of driving experience with a clean driving record
- Operation of multiple vehicle types, including Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and Air Movers
- Safety-oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies
- Active listening, coordination, operation monitoring, reading comprehension, and social perceptiveness
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids.
- Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
