Position Overview

Project Brilliance is a dedicated provider of ABA therapy, focusing on delivering high-quality, ethical, and innovative support to children on the autism spectrum and those with related developmental challenges. Our mission is to empower children with essential skills while also enhancing the quality of life for their families. We seek compassionate, energetic, and professional individuals with experience to engage in one-on-one interactions with young children, helping them achieve and exceed their developmental milestones.

Compensation: The pay rate for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Newly hired Behavior Therapists will start at a probationary rate of $16.00 to $17.00 until they obtain their RBT credential within the first 60 days of employment. Project Brilliance provides comprehensive training and support to facilitate this process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions to clients and facilitate peer play and social interaction groups.
  • Assist children in developing new skills and achieving personalized goals aimed at enhancing communication, social skills, problem-solving abilities, and daily living skills.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies, behavior modification techniques, and maintain accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to monitor and report on each child's progress.
  • Instruct children in appropriate social behaviors.
  • Ensure the safety of children during all activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Provide assistance with personal care tasks as necessary.
  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities for center-based and home therapy.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in ABA therapy is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • Ability to engage and play with young children (ages 2-6) in diverse environments.
  • Prior experience in ABA is a plus.
