You will ensure compliance with health regulations and uphold the company’s standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and engage in the preparation and cooking of diverse food items.
- Assist in the development and planning of innovative menus.
- Implement new culinary initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams.
- Manage cost control measures and monitor expenditures effectively.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, educational institutions, military, healthcare, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends with an emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost management, and presentation.
- Ability to create and distribute production schedules.
- Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching capabilities.
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications including Excel.
- An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
