About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and creating opportunities within our vertical markets. You will build lasting relationships with key industry influencers, generate new business leads, and drive revenue growth. Your expertise will be essential in researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities, managing and attending industry tradeshows, and creating innovative marketing materials to support industry vertical growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and create opportunities within ClearSpan verticals
  • Build lasting business relationships with key industry influencers
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Manage and attend industry tradeshows, meetings, and events
  • Create innovative marketing materials to support industry vertical growth
  • Become a subject matter expert on industry verticals and remain up to date on industry news and competitor landscape
  • Find gaps and improvement opportunities within specific product lines based on research and relationships with industry experts
  • Build vertical call lists to support lead growth with the use of best in practice third-party vendors
  • Use HubSpot CRM as the source of truth for all activity, outreach, content, and analytics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent from a 4-year college; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Proficient with Excel and the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm
