We are seeking dedicated Per Diem Housekeepers to join our team at NEW BEDFORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INC. This role requires availability for on-call shifts ranging from 8 to 24 hours per week, primarily during weekends.
Compensation: $16 to $18.78 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Complete specific duties in line with daily work schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness of furnishings, fixtures, and heating/cooling units in both resident and recreational areas.
Additional duties include:
- Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures, ensuring the removal of water marks.
- Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, and entryways.
- Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, and disinfecting.
Safety is paramount:
- Set up caution signs before commencing cleaning tasks.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize carpets as needed.
- Wash and disinfect walls and ceilings, ensuring a spotless environment.
Further responsibilities include:
- Maintain hallways, stairways, and elevators.
- Properly dispose of waste and ensure trash receptacles are lined.
- Clean vacant rooms as directed.
Lastly, ensure:
- All areas are kept clean and that cleaning supplies are stored appropriately.
- Infectious waste is discarded in designated containers.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules to maintain a safe and comfortable facility.
