We are seeking a skilled RN Coordinator to join our team at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with surgeons to ensure seamless procedure execution
  • Manage workflow and equipment to optimize efficiency
  • Assist staff with targeted in-services and unit-based education
  • Monitor inventory and maintain/updates preference cards
  • Prepare and verify supplies and equipment lists for surgical procedures
  • Act as a board runner (charge nurse) when coverage is needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

Preferred Qualification

  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire
