Job Overview

As a Technical Communications Specialist at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining technical documentation for our tool-of-record. This includes preparing instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information in an easy-to-interpret format.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for existing and proposed business processes, systems, functional/technical specifications, and other related materials.
  • Research and create communications that explain the use and illustrate the business value achievable through our tool-of-record.
  • Interview subject matter experts to learn and communicate their unique takes on the tool of record.
  • Evaluate technical employees and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Assess internal customer requirements and evaluate and document workable solutions.
  • Ability to document workflow to support development roadmap.
  • Prepare functional and technical requirements for new systems and updates to existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and instructions for all systems for which you are responsible.
  • Determine system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems.
  • Understand business initiatives to deliver solutions and provide recommendations in support of business objectives.
Continuous Training
  • Create technical training programs according to requirements. Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge is a plus.
  • Train on and distribute instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information in easy-to-interpret guides.
  • Train on and distribute functional and technical requirements for new systems and updates to existing systems.
  • Report data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
  • Determine overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements, as necessary.
  • Conduct computer training needs assessment by collecting information on employee skillsets.
  • Provide training schedules and agendas and determine course content and objectives.
  • Research and collaborate with other teams tasked with identifying current and future business needs.
Primary Skills/Experience
  • Fluent in English written & verbal skills, with background in professional writing/documentation.
  • Must be comfortable interacting and facilitating discussions with Stakeholders.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring experience.
