Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic

The Uftring Auto Group is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our award-winning team at multiple locations.
This is a vital role that requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other technicians and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and training to ensure the highest level of expertise.
- Utilize problem-solving skills daily to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
- Work effectively with other team members and departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Accurately document work performed and technical information.
- Review vehicle history files and test drive vehicles with customers as needed.
- Attend regular shop meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior service experience or education is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various make and model vehicles is essential.
- A friendly, positive attitude with a professional appearance is required.
- Good attendance record and strong time management skills are necessary.
- Valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
