Job Summary

Executive Chef Opportunity

Eurest, a leading provider of business and industry dining, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement regular and modified menus that meet corporate guidelines and customer preferences.

Culinary Leadership

Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and equipment operation, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Inventory Management

Manage food and non-food supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring availability of necessary products.

Quality Control

Conduct regular taste tests to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.

Sanitation and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A.S. or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.

Skills and Qualifications

Extensive catering experience, high-volume food service operations experience, and institutional cooking experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.

Certifications and Training

ServSafe certification and willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs.
