Job Overview

Position: Senior Visual/Audio Tech

Summary: This role is pivotal in orchestrating the planning, pre-production, coordination, and technical support for all media elements associated with the Ministry's Missions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the Production team, including defining roles, negotiating compensation, and scheduling for team members during Mission Trips.
  • Design a customized technical rider for mission trips that addresses the specific requirements of each event, serving as the primary guide for quoting and execution during the production rental phase.
  • Conduct preparatory visits as necessary to ensure all venue, contractual, and logistical details are thoroughly arranged prior to the event.
  • Engage in negotiations for equipment rental rates with production companies as needed.
  • Oversee the Pre-Production phase of each event, which includes content creation, equipment procurement, and logistical planning.
  • Assist with the technical load-in during events, ensuring all deadlines and technical specifications are met.
  • Support the Live Production of events from start to finish, coordinating all requirements from artists and speakers.
  • Manage all technical production logistics to guarantee the successful execution of events.
  • Create comprehensive gear lists for Media & Communications to ensure safe, secure, and compliant movement of equipment.
  • Develop a transportation plan for gear throughout all travel phases, ensuring adequate inventory management of incoming and outgoing equipment.
  • Coordinate all necessary travel and consular arrangements.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of all event materials to the appropriate post-production teams.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree) or 4 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
