KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver modeling and simulation assistance for hypothetical movements of Combatant Command (COCOM) Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) during Command Post/Computer Assisted Exercises (CPX/CAX).
  • Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of enhancements to AMC exercise Command and Control (C2), Scheduling, and Exercise Management Control systems to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.
  • Facilitate interface and integration specifications with the theater C2 system, including the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) and the Distribution Exercise Support System (DESS), along with related environments.
  • Support AMC/A37 in collaboration with AMC/A6 to ascertain equipment needs and connectivity requirements for various C2 and ITV functions, and develop precise architecture requirements, schematics, and checklists.
  • Monitor and document the resolution of technical issues concerning system outages, communication failures, and software-related challenges during execution.
  • Participate in exercise planning conferences and coordinate AMC involvement in JEP exercises to align AMC training objectives with those of other commands and develop effective exercise scenarios.
  • Assist in the creation of AMC exercise materials and documentation, and support AMC/A37 in preparing exercise presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) and directives; coordinate these documents with the exercise sponsor to ensure relevance and approval for execution.
  • Establish the AMC White Cell, Exercise Control Cell, Exercise Response Cell, and M&S Cell as necessary to manage exercise events and responses, guiding the exercise towards achieving training objectives and providing insights for evaluating AMC participation.
  • Assist COCOMs in formulating airlift cost estimates for their JEP, report actual airlift costs monthly, and provide AMC/FMAT with an Annual Budget Review (BR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and estimated JEP flying hours and costs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience/Education:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in air mobility operations within an air operations center environment.
  • Strong familiarity with AMC scheduling and C2 systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience/Education:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience as air mobility aircrew.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in AMC exercise design and coordination.

Security Clearance: A current and active SECRET level clearance is required.
