We seek a dedicated professional who is committed to overcoming obstacles, minimizing risks, and leading a team with clarity and purpose. Your expertise as a seasoned program manager will be vital in ensuring the success of our defense initiatives.

As a principal program manager, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and sustainability of significant programs, steering our engineering teams toward the development of innovative technologies. Our defense partners will rely on your ability to organize and synchronize program goals, while your team will depend on your leadership to address requirements, budget limitations, and staffing issues. In your capacity as an authority in the Digital Battlespace sector, you will pinpoint avenues for business expansion by supporting your client's objectives. This position also offers the opportunity to enhance your skills in problem resolution, strategic planning, contract review, and more. Your contributions will directly influence the Special Operations community while leveraging your knowledge of program management practices.

In this role, you will serve as a senior member of a Digital Battlespace Platform (DBP) team, leading a dynamic group tasked with the development, integration, and testing of digital solutions aimed at creating next-generation technologies for military personnel. You will act as a Special Operations advisor and Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with leadership to ensure that soldier solutions are seamlessly integrated to enhance operational capability and value, reduce costs and risks, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. Regular interaction with internal and external management and senior-level client representatives will be a key aspect of your role, addressing project-related decisions, scheduling needs, and contractual clarifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and management of programs in collaboration with clients to drive the development of complex initiatives from conception through implementation.
  • Interpret configuration management and documentation requirements, translating them into actionable program deliverables.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams within the program.
  • Document project timelines, monitor financials, and assign responsibilities in alignment with client specifications, while keeping clients updated on critical issues and changes that may affect project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations or program management within the defense sector or Special Operations.
  • Proven track record in developing growth strategies.
  • Experience in leading the strategic development and integration of mobility platforms for military missions.
  • Familiarity with product development processes, from inception to deployment, including strategic planning and resource management.
  • Knowledge of Special Operations, including various tactical vehicles and developmental platforms.
  • Expertise in Budget Management, Organizational Training, Planning, and Execution within the Special Operations context.
  • Ability to establish and maintain communication with DoD Special Operations stakeholders.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Master's degree and PMP Certification preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with U.S. Army Program Management offices, particularly in the development and operational deployment of Special Operations equipment.
  • Experience in managing organizational training programs, including course and schedule design.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation projects, particularly in Mobility, Soldier Systems, Target Evaluation, Visual Augmentation, or Breaching.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools for the development and evaluation of Special Operations capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Booz Allen Hamilton offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, along with paid leave, professional development opportunities, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
