Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disabilities and Mental Health Program Coordinator to join our team at REACH Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs and services that support the needs of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disabilities: Collaborate with community partners, education staff, coordinators, families, and children to assess and screen children in the program. Establish strong relationships with families and teaching staff to ensure that all children's and family's needs are addressed.
  • Mental Health: Coordinate and monitor contracts with local partners to provide mental health services. Develop and distribute materials in areas of specialization. Train staff and parents, conduct regular classroom visits, and maintain compliance and monitoring according to Head Start Performance Standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years' experience working with a Head Start or Early Head Start Program.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively plan and coordinate program services. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills, computer, internet, and email proficiency.
