ROLE OVERVIEW


This role supports Global Sustainment (GS) product design and delivery for
RMS-C6ISR programs.

The ideal candidate will assist in the development of all tasks related to technical documentation (TD) and training, with an emphasis on training creation and execution.

The selected individual will be responsible for writing, revising, and/or editing training materials as well as technical documents for diverse audiences.

The candidate must gain subject matter expertise through hands-on experience with the systems, interviewing product developers, and referencing technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering illustrations.

The successful applicant will also create and deliver instructional materials, which includes, but is not limited to, developing instructor-led training and course content, identifying student learning objectives, preparing course outlines, lesson plans, assessments, crafting student manuals, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of training materials and procedures.

The candidate should be adept at identifying necessary engineering source data and integrating approved information into support products.

This position necessitates a foundational understanding of computer hardware, networking, and maintenance processes. The candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during formal training sessions.

The candidate will generate training materials tailored to the program, intended for official training and periodic refreshers.

The selected individual must be a confident public speaker with outstanding written communication skills. The candidate should be capable of interacting with customer representatives and leadership, as well as Lockheed Martin Program leadership.

Applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be eligible for consideration for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Fundamental Instructor Skills
  • Technical proficiency with the ability to convey knowledge, skills, and understanding of the
    RMS-C6ISR program systems to end-users.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various professional levels.
  • This role requires travel to other locations as necessary, with overall travel estimated at 10-20%.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance (TS/SCI)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Selected applicants must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening.
Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will necessitate US Citizenship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideally, candidates should also possess the following skills:

  • Professional writing experience, including editing and proofreading.
  • Experience in network training.
  • Skills in logistics engineering.
  • Background in Air Defense and Mission Planning.
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) Communications and Command & Control (C2) systems.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering personnel to determine system capabilities and schedules, and leading product testing in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience in planning and conducting training for product end-users and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience in developing operations or maintenance training for complex electronic systems.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be US Citizens for consideration.

The responsibilities associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of flexible work schedules that provide additional options for our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed formats.

These condensed schedules offer employees additional time away from the office, complementing our Paid Time Off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week
