Job Overview
Momofuku is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality dishes are served to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus, including daily specials and seasonal changes.
  • Supervise and train junior cooks on kitchen procedures, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and minimal waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ordering and storage.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Benefits
  • $70,000-$75,000 annual salary.
