Job Summary

Wayne Brothers, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes setting up communication channels, requesting electronic CAD files, creating distribution lists, and submitting time and material rates to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup communication channels between clients and our team.
  • Request electronic CAD files and convert them to PDF files as needed.
  • Create distribution lists for contract documents.
  • Submit time and material rates to clients.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of contract documents.
  • Track the status of submittal approvals and update project managers accordingly.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on schedule.
  • Generate and transmit notices of non-compliance to subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Coordinate the pickup and un-installation of temporary facilities.
  • Assist with the close-out of projects and transmit final record sets to clients.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in a construction-related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera.

Working Conditions
  • Indoors - 70%
  • Outdoors - 30%
  • Loud noise - occasionally
  • Temperature changes - seasonal
  • Traveling/out of town - frequently
  • 40 to 60-hour work week - frequently
