Customer Service Representative Job Description

SafeTouch Security is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical and administrative support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer customer inquiries related to billing, service issues, and alarm system questions in a call center setting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule service appointments when necessary and act as a liaison between customers and various departments.
  • Investigate customer accounts and events related to their accounts.
  • Provide accurate and courteous responses to customer questions and concerns.
  • Control challenging customer situations and escalate to support team when necessary.
  • Document each call with accurate and detailed information.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of applicable experience in a call center or related environment.
  • Strong computer applications skills with MS-Office and ability to quickly learn other applications.
  • Exercise extreme caution with sensitive data.
  • Strong listening, time management, and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistently maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, respectfulness, and perseverance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work with accuracy, multitask, and maintain organization of all tasks.
  • Coachable and open to performance feedback.
  • Work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Act as the customer's advocate in high-stress situations.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Pass drug screening and background check requirements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Schedule:

Afternoon shift: 1 pm - 10 pm or 3 pm - 12 am. Open to overnight shifts or four 10-hour workdays from 1 pm - 12 am. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as assigned.

Location:

Onsite at our Jacksonville Headquarters.

Job Type:

Full-time.

Pay Range:

$18/hour.
