About the Role:Thinking Minds, Inc. is in search of a highly proficient Senior SAP PTP Functional Consultant to become an integral part of our client's innovative team. This position entails managing the successful development, execution, and maintenance of computing and information services, with a specific emphasis on the Procure to Pay (PTP) functions. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support, thereby enhancing the business value and operational effectiveness of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planning and organization of comprehensive design workshops, utilizing industry-leading practices and extensive global SAP implementation knowledge.
  • Promote the use of standardized tools such as Solution Manager, Charm Management, and JIRA.
  • Provide leadership during problem resolution and crisis management scenarios.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies between requirements and existing solutions, formulating options and estimates to bridge these gaps.
  • Engage effectively with IT partners and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with both onsite and offshore teams to oversee the execution of software delivery tasks.
  • Supervise critical PTP processes, ensuring appropriate alerting and automating recurring incidents.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting prioritization meetings for enhancements and defects with various functional partners.
  • Offer functional expertise, guidance, and training to stakeholders.
  • Help team members grasp the broader implications of decision-making.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Transform technical and functional specifications into test scenarios and scripts.
  • Ensure adherence to IT controls, SOX regulations, and audit requirements on the SAP Pharma Platform.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.
  • Functional expertise in Procure to Pay (PTP) and Supplier EDI reporting utilizing EDI852/EDI867.
  • Experience in designing and configuring SAP MM, LE, and SD modules.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale SAP implementations.
  • Strong configuration skills in SAP MM and SD modules supporting functions such as Purchasing, Master Data, Pricing, Inventory Management, Accounts Payable, and more.
  • Proficiency in integrating SAP modules (SD, MM, FI) and external ERP systems.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and creating functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Robust SAP integration experience with EDI, WMS, and non-SAP systems.
