The primary function of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to deliver operational proficiency in candidate recruitment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and cultivate external and internal candidate pools for vacancies at MD Anderson using diverse sourcing strategies and methodologies.
  • Ensure that qualified candidates are available for interviews for open positions.
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates, aligning their skills and interests with available roles.
  • Present qualified candidates to the recruitment team or hiring department.
  • Share insights on market conditions gathered from candidates and other sources with key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing feedback to enhance their understanding of the recruitment process and the positions they are being considered for.
  • Update candidate information, status, and other necessary details in the applicant tracking system (ATS) within required timelines.

Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in human resources. Additional years of equivalent experience may substitute for the required education on a one-to-one basis. If holding a preferred degree, no experience is necessary.

Preferred:

  • Current or previous experience in candidate screening and development is advantageous.
