Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests when they arrive at the hotel. They are responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring a smooth check-in process, and addressing any guest concerns or issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Assist with taking reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking
  • Help guests with any questions or complaints
  • Process payments and handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Upsell additional facilities and services
  • Perform all check-out tasks
  • Ensure all cash, checks, and credit card balances are accurate at the end of each shift
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve guest concerns or requests
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Experience with hotel reservations software
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Positive and upbeat attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. on occasion
