Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

At Syntricate Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our Maintenance Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions to improve our process reliability, product quality, and plant-wide performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting and Documentation: Consult diagrams and technical documentation, such as schematics, manuals, standards, and codes, to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance.
  • Backup and Revision Management: Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation to ensure seamless operation.
  • SCADA Management: Manage SCADA-type devices in an industrial environment to optimize system performance.
  • Instrumentation and Control: Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
  • PLC Programming: Configure and program Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) to optimize system performance.
  • Project Management: Organize and manage projects for implementing changes and improvements, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports to document issues, changes, and equipment maintenance.
  • On-Call Support: Be available for on-call support to ensure production needs are met.
  • Electrical and Pneumatic Connections: Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Instrument Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test instruments and systems to diagnose faults and ensure optimal performance.
  • Component Repair and Replacement: Remove, repair, adjust, and replace components to ensure system reliability.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate components and systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Engineering Support: Assist engineering in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Computer-Based Control Systems: Maintain various computer-based control systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance.

As a Refrigeration Technician at Syntricate Technologies, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of instruments, including transmitters, analyzers, sensors, detectors, signal conditioners, recorders, controllers, and final control elements. These instruments are used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.

  • Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
