We specialize in designing and fabricating customized chips for clients globally, catering to sectors such as optical communications, sensing, and pioneering photonic technologies including quantum computing and augmented/virtual reality.

We are expanding our team and seeking an Optical Systems Support Specialist.

The individual in this position will oversee the complete customer experience, acting as the main liaison, managing information flow, troubleshooting issues, and providing product specifications, along with delivering technical assistance and performing quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dependable and accessible point of contact for clients.
  • Address customer inquiries with prompt and precise information.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients.
  • Record customer interactions and technical solutions in our CRM system.
  • Maintain and organize detailed specification sheets for HyperLight products.
  • Assist in Marketing, Sales, and Public Relations initiatives, including client presentations.
  • Conduct tests to verify quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance product design based on client feedback.
  • Comprehend customer technical requirements and priorities, advocating for their needs internally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer support or technical assistance roles.
  • Familiarity with electro-optical modulators, photonics, optics, lasers, fiber optics, polarization, and related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Capability to perform under pressure.
  • Understanding of the operational principles of integrated photonic components.
  • Passion for delivering innovative products to the market.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving in new and ambiguous situations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM/ERP software is advantageous.

Authorization to work in the US is a requirement.
