Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:
DB Roberts is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion within assigned accounts and territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and territories
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, including purchasing, engineering, and upper management
- Manage account activity to ensure proper product penetration and volume increases
- Travel to accounts to meet with current and prospective customers to present or reinforce DB Roberts' value proposition
- Develop and present professional business proposals to existing and prospective customers
- Collaborate with inside sales to coordinate account activities and strategies
- Develop and maintain strong, productive supplier relationships
- Update customer profile tools and use information to efficiently manage territory
- Directly solicit customer service feedback and assist in resolving any problems or issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or four years related sales/marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in technical sales, electronic component distribution sales, or closely related field preferred
- Fasteners experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with sales tracking software, specifically CRM, a plus
