Role Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned and driven professional to fill the role of Senior Supply Chain Subcontract Manager. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain management and related fields, including business planning, contract administration, project oversight, logistics, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide mentorship and training to junior team members on procurement processes, ensuring compliance.
2. Lead and support special projects that necessitate advanced knowledge of supply chain procurement.
3. Organize and facilitate information-sharing sessions.
4. Engage in proposal efforts, including complex source selection and strategic supplier negotiations.
5. Collaborate with essential stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality assurance, supplier development, and operations.
6. Identify strategies to minimize costs, enhance efficiency, and manage risks through targeted negotiations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in supply chain, contracts, or business management; or a Master's degree with 13+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in developing subcontract specifications and terms for specialized procurement.
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain procurement principles and practices.
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in buying, supply chain planning, or program management.
- Familiarity with U.S. government supply chain practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and various benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, and paid time off.
