Job Title: Business Development Manager

At Hendrick Automotive Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the success of our sales and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the training and supervision of Business Development Representatives
  • Work closely with upper management and Human Resource in hiring and discipline decisions
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Set productivity goals for Business Development Representatives
  • Develop spiff programs for Business Development Representatives
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service to customers
  • Maintain effective employee relations
  • Attend weekly manager meetings
  • Oversee follow-up with customers through telephone, mailings, and electronic media
  • Ensure responses to incoming emails from customers via electronic media
  • Maintain the dealership website and social media page
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Participate in required training
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service and/or business development experience
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and persuasive selling skills
  • Working knowledge of automotive sales industry
  • Delivers superior customer satisfaction by resolving complex customer concerns
Education/Experience:

Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience. Valid driver's license required.
