Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Credit Support Consultant include:

  • Providing guidance to customers regarding the Division's credit policies.
  • Addressing customer inquiries related to commercial deposits, overdue accounts, discounts, and rates.
  • Managing service connections and disconnections.
  • Assessing and determining credit eligibility.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Credit Support Consultant position, candidates must:

  • Successfully complete Division Data Entry Exercises, Group C.
  • Have a record of successful completion of Placement/Performance Exercises.
  • Pass the Customer Service Simulation Test.
  • Possess a valid driver's license from their state of residence.
  • Establish and maintain residency in Shelby County, TN within six months of hire.
Work Environment

The role involves working both indoors and outdoors under favorable conditions. Candidates should be prepared for light lifting and the potential stress associated with managing customer interactions, including those that may involve challenging language.
