Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Oversight: Ensure the facility operates smoothly by managing maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with contractors on various projects and service agreements.
  • Cleaning Management: Schedule and supervise cleaning services to maintain a hygienic environment.
    • Order necessary supplies
    • Perform cleaning tasks as needed
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee repair work and assist with equipment installation and servicing.
  • Safety Management:
    • Act as the primary contact for emergency services and security providers
    • Conduct and document regular facility inspections
    • Communicate safety protocols to staff
  • Event Coordination: Maintain the facility calendar and communicate updates regarding events.
  • Access Management: Provide keys and access fobs to staff, renters, and contractors.
  • Rental Management:
    • Serve as the main contact for leases and tenants
    • Coordinate meeting space bookings, contracts, and payments
    • Manage volunteer projects and track volunteer hours

Asset Management:

  • Oversee organizational vehicles and their maintenance.
  • Collaborate with telecommunications providers.
  • Manage IT resources, including the distribution of technology.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment and schedule necessary servicing.
  • Supervise onsite IT volunteers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or related fields
  • Able to work full-time hours
  • Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and IT systems
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols
