Job Overview

Are you enthusiastic about electronics and dedicated to improving the dependability of power supply systems? Astrodyne TDI is looking for a proficient Electronics Failure Analysis Technician who excels in a demanding environment and is focused on uncovering and addressing the underlying causes of failure modes in Broad Market Power Supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to perform thorough testing and diagnostics of Broad Market Power Supplies.
  • Identify the genuine root causes of failure modes through precise troubleshooting, supplying essential information vital for enhancing reliability.
  • Proactively recognize potential trends in failure modes and highlight them promptly.
  • Document failure mode data in a database clearly and comprehensively, ensuring accurate records for future analysis.
  • Conduct tests according to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Dependable, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong technical skills and aptitude for understanding new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Competent in using PCs for data entry, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Capable of producing detailed and technical failure analysis reports for clients.
