Position Overview

Join a leading manufacturer in the Northern New area, renowned for producing high-quality instruments and delivering exceptional technical support.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will engage in various tasks including:

  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble and align electro-optical systems with precision.
  • Sub-Assembly Production: Create sub-assemblies for integration into the final product.
  • Testing and Calibration: Conduct final testing and calibration of instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues on circuit boards using oscilloscopes and volt-ohm meters.
  • System Interconnections: Execute system interconnections based on schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Technical Support: Assist with in-house servicing of instruments as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience: A solid understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams, with a preference for 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
  • Education: An associate degree or equivalent in electronics, with coursework in Analog and Digital Circuits.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic to intermediate computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with MS Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
