Role Overview
  1. Oversee all inquiries related to room bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and implement yield management strategies to achieve optimal rates and occupancy levels.
  2. Collaborate effectively with the front office, sales team, and senior management.
  3. Manage a streamlined reservations department to maximize occupancy rates.
  4. Adjust pricing strategies to ensure the highest possible rates are attained.
  5. Handle all types of bookings including individual, corporate, and group reservations.
  6. Negotiate pricing with guests, corporate clients, and travel agencies as necessary.
  7. Ensure all reservations are accurately processed and completed.
  8. Manage all inquiries, bookings, administrative tasks, deposits, payments, and follow-ups.
  9. Monitor online platforms for incoming reservations.
  10. Track future availability to set appropriate rates for sale on internal and external platforms.
  11. Keep the front office updated on the best rates for selling based on daily availability.
  12. Manage waitlists during peak periods to maximize occupancy.
  13. Document turnaways during busy periods.
  14. Follow up on charges for no-show reservations.
  15. Conduct hotel tours for potential clients.
  16. Perform various job-related tasks as assigned.
  17. Stay informed about competitor activities and share insights with the Deputy Manager, Rates Manager, and Sales Team.
  18. Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing department to establish annual pricing and remain aware of monthly and yearly targets.
  19. Ensure timely responses to all emails on a daily basis.
  20. Follow up on bookings and issue apologies when necessary.
  21. Conduct regular reviews of upcoming bookings.
  22. Provide necessary reports to the General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Director of Sales.
  23. Participate in relevant promotional and public relations events as required.
  24. Brief all Heads of Departments on current business status daily.
  25. Attend regular management meetings.
Qualifications

University degree in Hotel Management or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within 4-star or 5-star hotels.

Additional Information
  1. Good health condition.
  2. Fluency in English and conversational proficiency in Arabic.
