About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Sales Representative to join our Velocity Sales team at Vanta. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-potential business verticals to develop and execute outbound strategies to engage them with Vanta. You will also manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, with a focus on expediting deals within a 30-day timeframe.

As an Enterprise Sales Representative, you will be expected to:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in various industries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Manage the sales pipeline, improving and maturing the sales process and playbook
  • Define and communicate the specific benefits of Vanta appropriate for each customer, including making sales materials and demos
  • Collect insights from prospects for our product development process

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A closing and quota-carrying role experience of 2+ years, consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in SMB with a focus on short deal cycles
  • Highly empathetic to customers, with a proven track record of long-term customer retention
  • Technical competency to understand Vanta's software and build great relationships with highly technical prospects
