Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee internal operations to ensure adherence to organizational standards, including conducting internal audits and preparing for assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish project timelines.
  • Travel as necessary to conduct assessments and manage teams on-site.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to oversee multiple teams and concurrent processes.
  • Coordinate pre-site communication and activities with locations to gather necessary documentation.
  • Analyze data, processes, tools, and strategies utilized by cybersecurity teams and professionals.
  • Continuously enhance the program in response to evolving industry best practices and emerging threats.
  • Conduct business process evaluations and suggest improvements to operational and cybersecurity strategies.
  • Advocate for industry best practices in incident response, cybersecurity analysis, knowledge management, and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
  • Drive the implementation of automation and process efficiencies.
  • Review and audit response and escalation documentation and procedures.
  • Mentor and guide colleagues to facilitate cross-training.
  • Develop and maintain metrics for program compliance and maturity.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a DOD 8570 IAM Level III or equivalent certification.
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • At least ten years of technical experience in cybersecurity.
  • A minimum of two years of operational IT experience.
  • Experience in preparing organizations for and successfully achieving accreditation through formal assessments.
  • Advanced expertise in planning, directing, and evolving Security Operations Center (SOC) operations within a large and complex enterprise.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Proven understanding of the lifecycle of cybersecurity threats, including attack vectors and exploitation methods.
  • Knowledge of various Intelligence Frameworks.
  • Deep technical knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
  • Extensive leadership experience in building and maintaining high-performing teams in a cybersecurity context.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • CMMC Professional or CMMC Assessor certification.
  • Multiple DoD 8570 IAM or similar certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability; active EOD suitability is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Regularly operates a computer and other office equipment.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
