Role Purpose:
The Senior Program Finance Manager will play a crucial role in establishing a partnership with the Program Management Director and the Program Management team to guide projects towards achieving targeted financial objectives, including revenue, profitability, and cash flow. This position will provide financial leadership within the CSNTI Program Finance function by implementing processes to effectively manage project financials from setup through execution and reporting, while clearly communicating financial implications to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Program Finance function, including the management of finance personnel.
- Develop and implement processes to proactively manage, forecast, and report on program financials, effectively communicating key financial impacts to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Support the long-term, annual, and monthly forecasting processes by preparing accurate product line bookings, sales, and gross margin forecasts at the program level.
- Analyze monthly product line financials with a focus on gross margin accuracy.
- Oversee the Finance team in completing monthly/quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), revenue recognition, and Program Management Reviews.
- Deliver financial briefings to Business and Finance Leadership teams.
- Assist customer and sales team inquiries regarding program actuals, invoice documentation, or expenditure profiles.
- Support and maintain compliance with various Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Ensure financial compliance and cost controls across various government and commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with program teams in direct support of Program Management, demonstrating strong communication skills, process management, risk assessment, and performance driving abilities. Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in program accounting/finance, focusing on estimates-to-complete (ETC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) processes, driving program performance.
- Extensive knowledge of financial costing/pricing, reporting, revenue recognition, and invoicing requirements for various types of government and commercial contracts.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of program execution and its financial performance implications, along with well-developed analytical and consulting skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to navigate diverse opinions within multiple organizational levels.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information succinctly to management.
- Be flexible and willing to handle a wide range of work assignments.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently through problems with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate various stakeholders.
- Experience in cross-training and supervising personnel.
