Job Summary

Aston Carter is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our team in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our Accounts Payable professionals, ensuring the day-to-day administration of AP operational processes, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and direction to 8 Accounts Payable professionals, setting individual and team goals, coaching, training, and developing their skills.
  • AP Operational Processes: Lead the month-end close process, ensure cutoffs and deadlines are met, and maintain accurate monthly results.
  • Vendor Management: Assign vendors and stores, keep statistics of transactional workloads, and maintain error logs.
  • Knowledge Expertise: Serve as a knowledge expert for Accounts Payable transactional processes and train new hires.
  • Day-to-Day Functions: Manage day-to-day functions of the team, including vendor payment processing and automated clearing house payments.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience: 1+ years of supervisor/management experience in AP or 2+ years in AR, Payroll, or GL.
  • Skills: Excel proficient (including Pivot Tables), leadership, and Accounts Payable expertise.
