Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Professional to join our team at DuPage County ROE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Principal and other staff members, ensuring the smooth operation of the school office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal and other staff members
  • Manage the school office, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and processing mail
  • Assist with new student enrollment, registration, and transfer of records
  • Process purchase orders and work orders, as assigned
  • Order and maintain building supplies
  • Collect and deposit monies for school-related activities
  • Assist with field trip coordination
  • Attend and participate in assigned meetings and trainings


Requirements:
  • High School diploma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual skills helpful
  • Advanced typing, bookkeeping, filing, and computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with details and maintain accurate and thorough records
  • Strong project management skills, including personal initiative and ability to coordinate with others


Working Conditions:
  • Eleven-month year with salary to be established by the Board of Education
  • Health Insurance and Dental Insurance

Evaluation:

The Principal will serve as the evaluator with performance reviewed annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board Policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
