About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at ACDI - Access Control Devices, Inc. as a Technical IT Services expert.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for customer service and delivering exceptional technical support to our clients. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our customers, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver seamless support experiences
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and knowledge base articles

Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux)
  • Experience with server operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, troubleshooting)
  • Proficiency in remote desktop support and printer installation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Other Duties


As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, developing and maintaining knowledge base articles, and contributing to the development of training materials. You may be required to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to travel and fly on a commercial airliner if needed

Supervisory Responsibility


This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
