Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Manage a team of Assistant Managers and hourly employees, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
    • Ensure efficient use of resources, minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
    • Drive sales growth through effective marketing, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash handling, deposits, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Monitor and control inventory, labor costs, and other expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Complete daily, weekly, and period paperwork, including sales reports, inventory records, and employee evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
    • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant, with occasional lifting and bending.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and other physical demands.
