Job Summary
We are seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, staff management, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-House Operations
- Oversee the management of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Ensure that all front-of-house operations are running smoothly and efficiently
- Back-of-House Operations
- Oversee the management of back-of-house staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure that all back-of-house operations are running smoothly and efficiently
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Manage staff schedules and ensure that all staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties
- Inventory Control
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all stock is ordered and received in a timely manner
- Monitor and control inventory costs to ensure that they are within budget
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a restaurant operations management role
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and management principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
