Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and coordinate the planning, organizing, and training of restaurant staff to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve restaurant performance and achieve business goals.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
    • Monitor and address any guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food and Beverage Operations
    • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
    • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste to ensure profitability.
  • Financial Management
    • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Staff Development and Training
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve business goals.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety
    • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.
    • Identify and address any safety hazards or concerns to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in improving restaurant performance and achieving business goals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation, inventory management, and financial management.
