Especialista en Apoyo a la Asistencia Estudiantil

Compensación: $20.40/hora (aumenta según la experiencia y credenciales)

Como Especialista en Apoyo a la Asistencia Estudiantil en CORA, tus responsabilidades incluirán:

  • Establecer relaciones colaborativas con estudiantes y familias para mejorar la posibilidad de que el cliente complete el servicio con resultados positivos.
  • Colaborar con la escuela para desarrollar e implementar un Plan de Incentivos a nivel escolar.
  • Participar en el Equipo de Asistencia del SDP o en el Sistema de Soporte Multinivel y trabajar estrechamente con las escuelas, Coordinadores de Escuelas Comunitarias y otros socios escolares.
  • Desarrollar un plan de servicio para cada niño asignado que podría incluir la inscripción en servicios como Tiempo Fuera de la Escuela y proporcionarles la información, herramientas, útiles escolares, uniformes y otros recursos para asistir a la escuela regularmente.
  • Trabajar en casos referidos en colaboración con la escuela antes o durante el proceso SAIP para eliminar las barreras que impiden la asistencia escolar y reducir el número de referencias al Tribunal de Truancia Regional.
  • Mantener documentación precisa y oportuna de los servicios proporcionados a estudiantes y familias.
  • Mantenerse informado sobre la disponibilidad de recursos comunitarios y facilitar el acceso de estudiantes y familias a los recursos y servicios apropiados necesarios para apoyar y complementar los objetivos del servicio.
  • Si la familia es referida al Nivel 2, acompañar y asistir al niño y la familia durante los procedimientos del Tribunal de Truancia; preparar y presentar, de manera oportuna, toda la documentación requerida por el tribunal relacionada con el caso de cada cliente.
  • Abogar por y en nombre de los clientes para acceder a colocaciones de atención de nivel apropiado.
  • Adherirse a las pautas de la Agencia y de las entidades regulatorias en cuanto a los requisitos de carga de casos, entrega de servicios, responsabilidad y confidencialidad.
  • Participar en todas las funciones y reuniones interdisciplinarias necesarias.
  • Cumplir con los requisitos de capacitación establecidos por la Agencia u otras entidades regulatorias.
  • Asistir a reuniones regulares de supervisión y del departamento.

Los Candidatos Calificados Deben Poseer:

  • Título de licenciatura o maestría en un campo de Servicios Sociales (por ejemplo, Trabajo Social, Consejería, Justicia Criminal o campo relacionado).
  • Al menos dos años de experiencia en servicios sociales; se prefiere experiencia en servicios de tratamiento o intervención.
  • Experiencia documentada en servicios de gestión de casos.
  • Gran atención al detalle.
  • Conocimiento práctico de conceptos de prevención de delincuencia y los efectos del uso de sustancias.
  • Debe tener una licencia de conducir válida.
