Position Summary:
The Office of Catholic Education is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative leader for the role of Vice Principal for Student Support. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong dedication to Catholic education and proven experience in guiding a successful educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal to weave the Catholic faith and culture throughout the school's curriculum.
  • Exhibit visible leadership within the learning community, striving for continuous improvement in a student-focused environment.
  • Engage actively with all administrative members.
  • Demonstrate instructional leadership by comprehending academic standards and participating in teacher evaluations.
  • Prepare the budget for the Student Support Office in conjunction with the President and Principal.
  • Work with faculty, parents, and students to cultivate a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist faculty in fostering positive relationships and community within classrooms, particularly regarding discipline and classroom management.
  • Oversee and coordinate with counseling staff to promote student development and effective coping strategies.
  • Manage the school's discipline framework, ensuring the dignity of every student is maintained.
  • Supervise attendance and transportation programs.
  • Oversee the Behavior Intervention Specialist and Nursing Center.
  • Coordinate with Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Guidance to monitor and support at-risk students.
  • Adhere to mandated reporting procedures as outlined by the Office of Child and Youth Protection.
  • Teach up to two classes as needed.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or President.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in educational administration from an accredited institution.
  • PA Certification or equivalent for grades 9-12 in any subject area.
  • Experience in administrative, supervisory, or leadership roles is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and the community.
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills.
