Key Responsibilities:
  • Food and Beverage Quality: Ensure that food and beverage team members consistently produce high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Sanitary Practices: Ensure compliance of sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Guest Service: Oversee positive guest service in all areas, including responding to complaints and taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs, prepare schedules, cover shifts, and ensure the restaurant is properly staffed for all shifts.
  • Team Development: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members to create an environment that encourages the development and growth of all involved.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two plus years in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, or coffee shop in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications: Food Handlers and Liquor Permit required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic, ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems, proficient at fulfilling guest requests in a thorough and timely manner, knowledge and application of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures, demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions, excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
